Physiotherapy is a key rehabilitating element, which is not concerned only with getting over health problem,Physiotherapy in kayan for spacial need but also with early detection of such problems. Various means are employed which help children to develop signs of improvement both physically and in their motor ability. Such means include:
- Motor ability exercises.
- Therapeutic exercises.
- Balance exercises and neuromuscular coordination exercises.

As a member of the rehabilitating team, the physiotherapist’s role is as follows:
- Assessing motor and physical abilities of children
- Discovery of expected or existing problems.
- Running motor and developmental tests.
- Consulting other members of the team.
- Providing parents with information and necessary training concerning physiotherapy.

Physiotherapy deals with various physical impairments and problems including:
- Cerebral Palsy.
- Myopathy.

Nevertheless, every child has his accustomed therapeutic program.

Latest equipments for rehabilitating children are available at the department. This is not confined to CP cases but other cases as well such as Down Syndrome, Autism, Dyslexia. It has been acknowledged, scientifically, that integrating physical rehabilitation in programs for children suffering such cases is essential for developing mental abilities.

Every child is given three sessions a week, about one hour and half each.
